As a health and life coach, I hear people all of the time talk about the goals they have set for themselves and they are almost always "results-based" goals. Which isn't a terrible thing. I think a terrible thing would be to have no goals at all! But, you can't always control the results that you get. The better method is to set "system-based" goals. If you set goals such as, "I will work out 5 days a week", then that is completely within your control rather than "I want to lose 15 pounds this month".
In this episode, I share some great truths that I have learned from the great author James Clear who wrote the book Atomic Habits. A must read for everyone! He has this whole habit/routine/behavior thing down to a science! I hope you enjoy this episode and find it helpful as you set goals for your personal and/or professional life.
